Profile:
Yoshihiro Kondo (Piano)

He completed his studies at the Toho Gakuen School of Music at the top of his class, and then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich under Gerhard Oppitz.He won second place in Japan’s national musical competition in 1987 and performed in public for the first time in 1992 with the Munich Symphony Orchestra. His official debut in Japan was in 1995 and in the following year his first CD was released, which catapulted him into the limelight. Since then he has become one of Japan’s most prestigious pianists and has recorded more than thirty CDs and DVDs as a soloist, with orchestras, and with chamber music ensembles under various labels such as Denon, Decca and Bellwood.He has performed in such major venues as Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Symphony Hall in Osaka and the Wiener Musikverein in Vienna. The truly excellent reputation he has made for himself is evidenced by his many guest performances with orchestras in Japan and elsewhere, including the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic and Symphonic Orchestras, the Osaka Symphony Orchestra and the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra. His performances with such conductors as Neeme Jarvi, Thomas Sanderling, Cristian Mandeal, Yuzo Toyama, Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Hong-jae Kim and Junichi Hirokami likewise evidence his excellent reputation.To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut, He gave a solo concert in 2016 in the Max Joseph Hall in Munich, and played for the first time in the Great Hall at the Wiener Musikverein, presenting Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5.


Hajime Otomo (Cello)

Graduated from, and completed the postgraduate course at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. He won the New Talent Prize at the Kyoto Art Festival in 1994 and was a prize winner in the 4th Japan Chamber Music Competition. He performed on the radio program "NHK FM Recital" in 1998. He studied under Yoritoyo Inoue, Asako Tsuda and Souichi Katsuta.


Yuko Higuchi (Dance)

She is Dancer and dance teacher of European historical dance.When she was student of the musical department of Doshisha Women’s College in Kyoto,Starting to study the historical dance (Renaissance,,Baroque ,Rococo ,and 19th C.) that related to the classical music, and now dancing in the concert many times.And also ,researching the Polish dance and learning in Poland several times.In 2007, 2014,and 2017, projected the dance concert for the Chopin’s Mazurka and Polonaise , in recent years dancing with a Polish professional dancer. Lecturer at Osaka Music College ,and Doshisha Women’s College.


Eric Jacobsen (Navigator)

He was born in New York State, and grew up in Williamstown, Massachusetts.He is well known in Japan for having been on the NHK children’s television program, “Eigo De Asobo” for 19 years. Although, he no longer appears on the show, he regularly writes and arranges music for the program.In the field of “Edutainment,” he has been in involved in music making and other content production for over 25 years. He has worked with numerous companies including Benesse, ALC, Gakken and Obunsha.His music is popular with children, parents, and English teachers throughout Japan. His songs are catchy and easy to learn, and are made to bring out the natural rhythms of everyday spoken English.With performances at events across the country, his shows are full of audience participation, with children and parents singing, dancing and learning, but mostly just having fun! He also works as a singer in high demand for television commercials, and The Eric Jacobsen Band is his “grown up” band, which plays in and around the Tokyo area.
