Performance content | Content "What does it mean for art that everyone can't share?" The belief of British art critic John Ruskin (1819-1900) defended Turner, who had revamped landscapepainting, and young artists who had strayed from traditional academicism, and encouraged the budding of the global arts and crafts movement. In this exhibition, about 150 paintings by Rossetti, Millei, Byrne-Jones, Morris and others, as well as valuable books, furniture, stained glass, tapestries, etc. about Ruskin, collaborated from the birth of the Pre-Raphael school, and The flow leading to the development is reached under the view. What is Raphael's pre-school? An alliance and its movementformed around British art students in 1848. They were dissatisfied with the policy of following the Italian Renaissance master Raphael (the English name Raphael) at art school, and called himself "Raphael's pre-raphael" in an attempt to express his pre-raphael era. Members of the alliance were heavily criticized for their defiance of tradition. It was the art critic Ruskin who tried to save them from their predicament. |
