12-year-old, flute-playing from an early age; After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, a high school attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, he moved to France. After completing the French National Creteil Regional Conservatory with the best results, he studied at the Ecole-Normal Conservatory of Music in Paris. As a member of the Magnum Trio, he has been invited to various concerts and flute festivals in Japan, including the United Kingdom, Canada and Korea. After graduating, he returned to Japan with the backing of the Nomura International Cultural Foundation. He has been a soloist as an orchestral player, including guest performers to orchestras both in Japan and abroad. He is also actively involved in contemporary music, including the premiere of his new work. Released the CD "Farfaral in the Sleeping Forest" and "Farfaral of Wonderland" in the harp duo Farfale with his older sister, Tayoshi Matsumura. He won the 10th Japan Harp Competition (International Competition) professional category and many other awards. He studied under Junko Tabuchi, Mari Kimura and Fabrice Pierre. He is a member of the International Harp Association of France. He is a harpist of the Kyoto City Symphony Orchestra, a lecturer at osaka university of music, and a part-time lecturer at Osaka University of Music.
