[Story]
Don Quixote follows the farmer Sancho Pansa on a journey around the world in search of adventure. Barcelona is a vibrant port city. Kitri's lover is the barber Basil, but Kitri's father Lorenzo thinks he's going to marry his daughter to a rich aristocrat, Gamarsh. In the square, don quixote and Sancho Pansa appear in the square, and Don Quixote believes Kitri as his ideal woman, Princess Durcinea. But she hides in an out-of-town tavern with Basil during the commotion. Lorenzo and the others who followed find them. To Lorenzo, who is trying to force Kitri to engage Gamarsh, Basil attempts to commit suicide, saying, "If I can't marry Kitori, I'll commit suicide." Indignant, Don Quixote thrusts a spear at Lorenzo and urges him to admit his marriage to Kitri, Basil's last wish. When Lorenzo reluctantly agreed, Basil, pretending to be dead, jumped up and rejoiced with Kitori.

Don Quixote and Sancho Pansa wander through the forest. Don Quixote accidentally charges the windmill as a giant, but is caught in the blade of a windmill that has begun to turn, knocked to the ground and faints of mind. In his dream, Don Quixote meets Princess Durcinea (Kitori). Sancho, on the other hand, meets the dukeand and wife who enjoyed hunting, asks them to help their faint-spirited master, and the dukes decide to invite Don Quixote to their house. The duke sands hear the love story of Kitri and Basil from Sancho Pansa, and try to have their wedding ceremony at the house. A gorgeous feast is held to celebrate the marriage, and Kitori and Basil also perform a joyful dance.
