Detailed Information

Performance content Bohemian Masahiro, a violin player who has performed with Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra members and other Hungarian musicians at a tavern in Budapest, Hungary, the home of Hungarian Roma music, celebrated the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Hungary in 2019. In the wake of his musical performances and attracting attention, he and Marie Saito, a piano co-star in the Private Note Live series, have actively worked on concerts and live performances sponsored and certified by the Hungarian Embassy with the aim of developing cultural exchange between Japan and Hungary and spreading Hungarian Roma music through Hungarian Roma music.
In this performance at Oji Hall, we will also perform familiar Hungarian Roma music, jazz and classical music, including Chalcash, which is not well known to Japanese musicians played by Hungarian Roma musicians.
