Remarks
Organizations Overview This is a choral project that started in 2008 in Kobe, the disaster-stricken area of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Presided over by composer Masu Ueda, he has organized choirs, mainly those affected by the disaster, to practice and perform at seven locations in Japan (Kobe, Tokyo, Sayo Town, Hyogo Prefecture, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Sendai, and Kita-Iwata) that have been damaged by natural disasters and wars. Together with professional voicers, orchestras, and pianists, we convey the thoughts of the disaster-stricken areas through concerts. Overseas performances have also been held in Prague, Vienna, Italy (Vatican, Assisi, Florence) and Poland (Syfydnica, Krakow, Warsaw) and have been well received in various places.
